Lovina Beach is a combination of smaller beaches traversing several local villages between 2 districts in the North Bali regency of Buleleng. Besakih ‘Balinese mother temple’ is located on the slopes of Mount Agung. It is the most important, the largest & the holiest temple of Hindu religion in Bali & one of the series of Balinese Temples. Set in the lap of nature, nestled in between rice paddies, hillsides, and streams Besakih Temple adds to the feeling of serenity, the temple is known for. This huge temple complex comprises of around 86 temple shrines. Out of this, there are three main temples which are dedicated to the trinity in Hindu mythology, that is- Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. It has stepped terraces and flights of stairs which ascend to a number of courtyards and brick gateways that in turn lead up to the main spire or Meru structure, which is called Pura Penataran Agung. All this is aligned along a single axis and designed in a way that it leads to spirituality. From the top, the view of the surroundings is absolutely mesmerizing.
