TrekHops lists 59 Bali tour packages from India, from ?23,600 per adult for the six-day Memorable Bali to more than ?1.1 lakh for eight-day Bali and Singapore trips. The package name tells you little. Four things decide the right choice: how many nights you have, who is traveling, which Bali areas you sleep in and what the package leaves out.
This page sorts the full inventory by those four factors. It then shows the total trip cost, which runs well above the package price, along with flights from nine Indian cities and the entry rules that apply to Indian passport holders today.
Which Bali tour packages from India can you book right now
TrekHops sells 59 Bali tour packages from India in five groups: honeymoon, family, classic sightseeing, adventure and multicountry trips with Singapore or Hanoi. Every listed package prices per adult on twin sharing, includes daily breakfast and private airport transfers, and leaves out international flights, the Indonesia visa, the Bali tourist levy, GST and TCS.
All prices come from the live TrekHops package pages, checked Sept. 10, 2026. Flights are an add-on on every package, including the ones named after an Indian city.
Activities drive price more than nights or stars. Compare packages at the same three-star level. The 10-night Cultural & Nature Escape costs ?59,757, less than the five-night Exciting Bali at ?73,436. Among five-night packages, Memorable Bali costs ?23,600 and Tropical Bali Beach Escape costs ?56,246. The pricier ones add boat trips, cruises, a sunrise trek and private dinners. The cheaper ones lean on temples, villages and rice terraces, where tickets cost little.
The departure city in a package name barely changes the land price. Within each honeymoon tier, the city versions share hotel class, meals and length, and prices sit within about ?1,500 of each other. Their sightseeing days differ by version, so compare the day-by-day plan rather than the city name. The Chennai Escape at ?55,078 is the exception; ask TrekHops why before booking it. Your city mainly changes the flight add-on.
"Area not stated" is a question to ask, not a reason to skip. Two five-night, four-star honeymoon packages cost about ?40,000 and ?63,000. The pricier one names a Kuta and Ubud split stay; the cheaper one does not name an area. Ask for the hotel name and area for every night before you compare the two.
Which Bali package fits your trip
Start with who is traveling, because pace, hotel base and time in the car separate a good family trip from a good honeymoon, even on the same itinerary. Budget comes second. Find your traveler type below, then jump to its section for lengths, prices and the reasoning behind each pick.
How many days are enough for a Bali trip from India
Five nights is the practical minimum for a first Bali trip. Arrival and departure days go mostly to flights, transfers and check-in, so a 4N/5D package leaves about three full days. Five nights leaves four: enough for one beach base, Ubud and one island or volcano day without rushing.
Bali looks small on a map; traffic makes it feel large. Seminyak to Ubud takes 1.5 hours off-peak and 2.5 hours or more at rush hour, and puts Ubud to Uluwatu at two to three hours. Every hotel change costs about half a day.

Two plans that fail on short trips: Nusa Penida and a Mount Batur sunrise trek on back-to-back days, since trek pickups start around 2 a.m. and a Nusa Penida day runs 10 to 12 hours door to door. And the Lempuyang “Gate of Heaven” photo stop, where queues often run two to four hours.
How much does a Bali trip from India cost
A Bali-only package from TrekHops costs ?23,600 to ?87,719 per adult before flights. The trip costs far more. In the worked example below, a ?40,429 five-night package becomes an ?86,700 to ?1.14 lakh trip per person once flights, visa, levy, meals and tax join the bill. Budget for the trip, not the package.

About ?3,500 for visa and levy

?4,500 to ?11,000 for activities, SIM and tips
The low end pairs the cheapest package with cheap flights and simple meals; the high end pairs the priciest package with peak-leaning fares. The premium column adds a mid-range pool villa, shared by two, for every night at ?7,500 to ?14,000 per person per night, without subtracting the hotel nights it replaces, so treat it as an upper bound.
What to budget separately from the package price
The package covers hotel nights, breakfast, airport transfers and listed sightseeing. Everything else in the worked example sits outside it: flights, visa, levy, GST and TCS, lunch and dinner, extra activities, spa, shopping, local transport, a SIM, tips and a 10% buffer.
Many restaurant bills already add a 5% to 10% service charge, and TCS comes back as a tax credit when you file your return.
What does a Bali tour package from India include
A standard package includes hotel nights, daily breakfast, airport transfers and listed sightseeing. Most exclude flights, the visa, the tourist levy, lunch, dinner and tax.
Compare packages on inclusions, not headline price: a ?40,000 package without tickets or meals can end up costing more than a ?48,000 package that includes them.

When is the best time to visit Bali from India
Travel in April to June or September to October. Those months fall in Bali’s dry season but outside the July-August and Christmas peaks, so you get sunshine without top hotel rates. July and August bring the driest weather and the highest prices. November to March brings heavy afternoon rain and lower rates.
Indonesia’s official tourism site says Bali’s dry season runs April to October and the wet season November to March, per indonesia.travel. Airport climate data shows how sharp the change is.

Rainfall and rainy days are 1991-2020 averages for Ngurah Rai airport compiled by Starlings Roost Weather from station reports, via Wikipedia’s Denpasar climate table. NOAA’s official 1991-2020 normals for the same station show a mean temperature of 26 C to 28 C and humidity near 80% in every month, per NOAA NCEI.
For honeymoons: April, May, September and October. For families: Indian school holidays in May and June fall in the dry season, but book three to four months ahead. For trekking, diving and Nusa Penida: July to September offers the calmest, driest conditions, though rough seas still cancel boats. On Aug. 7, 2025, waves of 2 to 4 meters halted about 72 boats from Sanur and Padangbai, The Bali Sun reported.
Check Nyepi before booking March. Bali’s Day of Silence closes the airport for 24 hours, keeps hotel guests on site and closes beaches. On March 19, 2026, the closure suspended 440 flights, ANTARA reported. Balinese calendars point to March 8 or 9 in 2027, but Indonesia had not published its 2027 holiday decree as of Sept. 10, 2026.

Only Delhi and Bengaluru have true nonstop flights to Bali: Air India from Delhi and IndiGo from Bengaluru. IndiGo’s Mumbai and Delhi services fly direct but stop to refuel. Other cities, Chennai included, connect through Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok, or via Delhi or Bengaluru.
Bali’s airport is I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, code DPS, about 4 kilometers from Kuta. Bali runs two hours and 30 minutes ahead of India.

Why your city changes the trip price. The land package barely changes by city; the flight does. A Bengaluru traveler flies about seven hours nonstop. A Kolkata traveler may spend 15 hours with a layover.
If your city has no nonstop, price two options: a one-stop international ticket, or a domestic flight to Delhi or Bengaluru plus the nonstop. The second often saves hours. Since 2024, IndiGo has launched three Bali routes and filed nonstop replacements for two, so check schedules for your exact dates.
What happens after you land in Bali
After landing at Ngurah Rai, you clear immigration with your visa on arrival or e-VOA, collect bags, pass customs and meet your driver; TrekHops includes a private airport transfer on every listed Bali package. Drive time to your first hotel ranges from 10 minutes for Kuta to nearly two hours for Ubud.
Before you land: complete the free All Indonesia digital form, which covers immigration, customs, quarantine and health in one submission, within three days before arrival. Pay the tourist levy online before you fly or at the airport counter.

Which places in Bali should your package cover
Cover three things: one southern beach area, Ubud and one “big day” such as Nusa Penida or the Kintamani volcano region. Together they give you beach, culture and scenery. Adding more regions to a five-night trip turns the holiday into a series of long car rides.
Place

1 to 1.5 hours from Ubud
You have only four nights
Bedugul and Munduk
Ulun Danu Beratan lake temple, waterfalls, cooler air
2 to 2.5 hours from the south coast
You have four nights or fewer
The beach areas (Seminyak, Kuta, Nusa Dua, Sanur and Canggu) work as bases rather than sights; the stay table below compares them. The TrekHops inventory follows this pattern. Honeymoon packages pair Uluwatu, Ubud and Nusa Penida. Family packages pair Kuta or Nusa Dua with Waterbom and a zoo or safari park. Longer packages add Bedugul, Lovina and Munduk.
Which Bali attractions and activities are worth the time
Uluwatu at sunset, a rice terrace, a water temple and one volcano or island day make the core of most good Bali itineraries. Kecak, waterfalls and cruises are strong extras. Water parks, rafting, diving and treks belong to specific traveler types. Choose activities by who you are, not by what trends online.
Fees are for foreign adults, converted at ?1 = IDR 185.7 and rounded.
The rule that saves most trips: plan one long-drive day for every two short days. Nusa Penida, Kintamani and Bedugul each take a full day; pair each with a slow day at your hotel, a spa or a short Ubud walk.
Where should you stay in Bali
Split the stay: a beach base for the first half and Ubud for the second. That puts you near both the coast and the culture without daily two-hour drives. Families with young children can pick one resort base instead and take day trips. No single area suits everyone.

The mistake to avoid is a package that lists “Bali” as the hotel location without naming the area. A hotel in Kuta and a hotel in Ubud produce two different holidays at the same price.
What documents do Indians need for Bali
Indian passport holders need a passport valid for at least six months, a visa on arrival or e-VOA costing IDR 500,000, a return or onward ticket, the free All Indonesia arrival form and the separate Bali tourist levy of IDR 150,000. Apply for the e-VOA only on the official Indonesian immigration site.
Rules checked Sept. 10, 2026:
Requirement
Current rule

Valid at least six months from arrival; UK and US advisories also ask for two blank pages
A fee increase is coming but has no start date. On Aug. 12, 2026, Indonesia’s director general of immigration announced a rise to IDR 750,000 for the e-VOA and IDR 1,000,000 for the VOA bought at the airport, Kompas reported. The current fee stays IDR 500,000 until the new rate takes effect.
The levy is separate from the visa. Bali’s provincial government collects it under its own regulation, and it applies only to Bali. Pay it at lovebali.baliprov.go.id, at airport counters or at participating hotels and attractions.
Avoid look-alike visa sites that add service charges; the official address ends in imigrasi.go.id.
This section summarizes official requirements; it is not immigration advice. For the full process, read the TrekHops Bali visa guide for Indians.
